Role in MILES:
Karla is the lead on cross-site integration of Adventure Learning (AL), including research of social science outcomes and pedagogical questions related to the statewide collaborations that are being spurred with teachers and students via AL. Karla also advises graduate students participating in AL across the state, and is active in the social science and educational research aspects of the MILES project.
Brief biography:
Karla Eitel is the Director of Education for the College of Natural Resources' McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS). She holds a Ph.D., M.Ed. and M.S. in conservation social science, all from the University of Idaho.
