Brief biography: 
Dr. Kliskey a landscape social-ecological scientist and behavioral geographer with training, teaching experience and research experience in landscape ecology, behavioral and perceptual geography, geographic information systems (GIS), planning, policy analysis, and surveying. He approaches teaching and research from an interdisciplinary perspective directed at integrated methodologies toward social-ecological systems. The hallmark of Dr. Kliskey's research is in rigorous interdisciplinary science that has relevance to society and particularly to communities at the local-level. His current focus is on the understanding of community response, resilience, and adaptation to environmental change.
