Brief biography:
Alex's research interests lie in ecological modeling and statistical analysis methods. His work includes developing models integrating and scaling ecological processes across community levels of organization, and computer-intensive data analysis. He taught various statistical courses, while completing his doctoral research entitled "Consequences of Global Change on Terrestrial Ecosystems: Integration and Scaling of Increased UV-B Radiation Effects on Ecological Processes from Molecular to Community Interactions."
